We express our gratitude to our great sponsors for their generosity:

Applebee's, Applied Sound & Communications, Assemblyman Michael A. Montesano,
The Festival Committee 2013 would like to express its appreciation to the Parish for its wholehearted support in running this year’s Holy Family Festival. It is only with your help, that the Festival can achieve what it does!
We would also like to extend an especially GREAT THANK YOU to all the volunteers who came down to help us build, run and put away the Festival last week. We hope that you had the opportunity to meet other parishioners that you had seen around, but never met, and some that you look forward to meeting year-over-year at the Festival. We have come to truly appreciate the camaraderie experienced during the annual Festival, which is the goal of what we set out to do over 6 years ago.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the neighborhood of Holy Family for their patience with our annual Festival and its inconveniences to them and their families.
The committee thanks its fellow family members that help us carry, lift, clean, assemble, store, stack, push, buying and selling raffle tickets, and, most of all, for your understanding in supporting us.
Thank you to Chris Hawkins for powering us again! You enabled us to install professional grade electric service for the Festival. We could not run the Festival without it. Thanks to Gary Hoehing, Paul Pretter, Tom Pascucci, and Mike Weiss for digging, cementing and setting the perfect footing for the new pole. If you have noticed a new manhole cover in the parking lot, it is covering the new footing!
Thank you to Peter Accardi and Barbara Carroll for nearly 1300 fantastic pictures. Take a look at the Festival Photos 2013 pages at http://festival.holyfamilyparishny.org/photos-2013.
To parishioners Bill and Nancy Balla, our gracious appreciation for donating the corn again that was enjoyed by so many! And to parishioners Frank Gatt, Lisa Hartel, and Penny McNicholas for their assistance in getting all 1,000 Raffle tickets sold.
We thank Mr. Gene Fennell and Holy Trinity High School for their continued support and allowing to use the fences along Newbridge Road, the Titan’s Club large gas grill, and raffle drum, which was a tremendous help. We thank the Hicksville Chamber of Commerce for allowing us to place our banners on the fences at Kennedy Park in the center of Hicksville Village.
The Committee sends out another thank you to the parish staff and facilities management, who once again added many tasks to their busy days to help make the Festival a possibility.
The Committee must also thank the Town of Oyster Bay, Department of Highways and Department of Parks for their support with the Show Mobile, light stands, lending of town materials, and especially with the street banners!
The Committee thanks the Nassau County Police Department, Nassau County Auxiliary Police, and the Hicksville Volunteer Fire Department for their willingness to be present at our Festival and help make us safe.
Thank you to Mike Newton and Newton Shows for putting together another great Midway and layout. We also express our sadness on the death of the founder and father Lewis Newton.
Fr. Gerard’s support for the event and his presence throughout the event was instrumental and inspiring to us to keeping our quality high and assured.
We look forward to doing it again for Festival 2014, which will be Wednesday, August 13th, thru Saturday, August 16th.
